About us

We’re an Anglican/Baptist Local Ecumenical Partnership although most of us are happier to simply be called Christians. Our worship is informal and child-friendly with an emphasis on good Biblical teaching and a warm welcome, whoever you are and wherever you are on your faith journey. Following Jesus’ example, we have found that meals help us to engage with one another so shared meals and hospitality play an important part in our life.

We are quite a varied bunch - young and not so young, single, married, with and without children and from various ethnicities and understandings of life. We believe that when we come together authentically we experience a deep sense of belonging and community.

Parents, Carers & Toddlers Group -
Each Wednesday during school term time it will run between 9.30-11.00am in the Ladygrove Community Hall. We ask for £3.00 per family to cover the cost of hiring the room, refreshments, sanitisation and craft materials.

Children’s Ministry - Junior Church

On the first Sunday our services are Worship All Together when we join as a whole church family and use a variety of media and activities to explore the theme of the day. The other Sundays there is provision for Junior Church and the kids go out to learn together for about 45 minutes during our service.

Giving

Giving

We believe that God is the great provider and giving our time, talents, and treasures back to him are part of each Christian’s call. We encourage those who consider The Ladygrove Church their church home to give by tithes and offerings.

Our minister, Rachel, is a house for duty minister, which means she works two days in the week and Sundays. This means that she may not reply to messages immediately or on the same day, but she will get back to you!
